Your Day at Las Verdes

Morning
•  We start the day with breakfast at your hotel in Carmel-by-the-Sea
•  Our driver will shuttle you to Quail Lodge, located in nearby Carmel Valley
•  Our instructors lead morning golf clinics, view Golf Instruction on Details page.

Afternoon
•  Lunch is at your leisure at Quail Lodge or cafes in Carmel Valley
•  After lunch, more golf clinics and on-course instruction at Quail Lodge.

Late Afternoon
•  Indulge in a massage at Quail Lodge (see below for details)
•  Our shuttle will to return to Carmel-by-the-Sea each afternoon
•  Feel free to join afternoon or evening yoga hosted
in Carmel-by-the-Sea early evening

Evening
•  Evenings are reserved for dinner at your leisure in the village of Carmel-by-the-Sea

Activities

In Addition to the daily golf schedule, you're also welcome to enjoy the following activities at your leisure:

•  Beachcomb the most beautiful stretch of shoreline in Northern California
•  Explore the unique shops nestled down the alleys throughout Carmel Village
•  Visit any of the more than 100 art galleries in town
•  Enjoy fine wine and dining at Carmel's world class restaurants and cafes

Activities are scheduled around golf clinics, but never feel obliged to make every event.
With the exception of orientation, no activities at Las Verdes are mandatory. Join activities at your own pace.

We never forget this is your safari and you may choose to simply relax.

Yoga

Yoga is included with your safari. Each day you may join our certified yoga instructors for a series of stretches, ending with meditation. You're welcome to participate in your choice of scheduled classes at your leisure. Yoga doesn't fit your schedule today? No worries, nothing is required. So, come when you want and get a glorious stretch

Travel Plans

•  Arrivals  •
Schedule yourself to arrive on Monday, the first day of your safari, by 5pm to allow time for
hotel check-in. Orientation and dinner is at 6pm at the Cypress Inn.


•  Departures  •
Unless you plan to extend your stay, departure on the last day Thursday late in the afternoon.
Golf instruction ends at 4pm. If flying, schedule departing flights to allow time to get to the airport and
security check-in times. Drive time to Monterey airport is fifteen minutes.


•  Driving to Carmel  •
Drive time from the Bay Area is two and a half to three hours, six-seven hours from Southern California.
We will provide driving directions and parking details. Guests should plan to arrive at the hotel at by 5pm,
to allow time for hotel check-in before orientation at 6pm.


•  Flying to Monterey Peninsula Airport  •
We provide airport transfers to Monterey Peninsula Airport from 10am to 5pm on arrival day, and return
transfers on Thursday until 7pm and Friday from 9am to 6pm. Drive time to the airport is fifteen minutes.
If you need arrive or depart outside that schedule , we can help you arrange a shuttle or taxi.


•  Flying to San Jose or San Francisco International Airports  •
Airport shuttles to Carmel are available at your own expense.
•  Travel time from San Jose is an hour and 45 minutes
•  Travel time from San Francisco is two and a half hours
